Low power transformer

Low-power transformers include single-phase transformers with an output power of 4 kVA and below, three-phase transformers with a power of 5 kVA and below. These transformers are used in radio engineering, electronics, automation, communications, industrial electric drive devices to reduce the voltage in working circuits in order to ensure their safe operation, as well as to power household electrical appliances, etc. The range of these transformers is extremely diverse.

The tables show the characteristics and parameters of widely used low-power transformers supplied by order and designed to supply control circuits of electric drives and other electrical consumers, local lighting lamps, low-voltage signaling circuits and rectifiers assembled in a full-wave circuit (see Figure 1). These transformers are manufactured in accordance with GOST 16710-76 and have a type designation OSM - single-phase, dry, multipurpose... Their climatic design in accordance with GOST 15150-69 is designated: for a temperate climate - UZ (ambient temperature from -45 to +40 ° C), tropical-resistant - TZ (from -10 to +45 ° C) and cold-resistant - HLZ (from -60 up to +40 ° С). The design, electrical parameters, overall and installation dimensions are the same for all three transformers. The permissible overvoltage for the supply network is not more than 10 %, for the load current - not more than 5 % while maintaining the power not exceeding the nominal.

Vibration of the transformer attachment points with a frequency of up to 60 Hz and an acceleration of no more than 10 m / s2 is also permissible.

Rated primary voltages of transformers of type OSM - 220, 380 and 660 V, secondary - in accordance with tables 1-4. A combination of any of the indicated primary voltages with any (any with two secondary windings) of the secondary is possible. No-load currents and short-circuit voltages are determined according to table 5, overall dimensions and weights - according to Fig. 2 and table 6
